This week’s SojournKids Bible lesson was “God Hears Hannah’s Prayers” (1 Samuel 1:1-2:11). Use the questions below to review it with your kids. You can also review the weekly North Star Catechism (below). READ: 1 Samuel 1:1-2:11 or Story 51 in The Gospel Story Bible

ASK: Have you ever prayed for something? Did you get what you asked for?

ASK: Why did Hannah pray to God?She wanted God to give her a son.

ASK: What did Hannah have that helped her?Hannah did not have a son, but she had faith that God could do anything. Faith is the word that describes our belief and trust in God.

Check out the daily devotionals that correspond with this week’s lesson in the book, Long Story Short by Marty Machowski, pages 257-261.
