sojournkids at homeThis week’s SojournKids Bible lesson was "Good King, Bad King” (2 Chronicles 29:1-11).  Use the questions below to review it with your kids. You can also review the weekly North Star Catechism (below). READ 2 Chronicles 29:1-11; 33:1-5 or Story 68 in The Gospel Story Bible

ASK: What are the two kings names? Hezekiah and Manasseh

ASK: Which king is the good king? Hezekiah is the good king, because he worshiped God and took the idols out of the temple and high places.

ASK: What is an idol? A pretend god. And idol can be anything we love more than we love God

Check out the daily devotionals that correspond with this week’s lesson in the book, Long Story Short by Marty Machowski, pages 342-346.

This week's North Star catechism question is...

62. How does the church go into the world? The church goes into the world as worshipers. We bow to Jesus' authority and praise him for his power.

Mathew 28:18–Then Jesus came and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given me."
