sojournkids at homeThis week’s SojournKids Bible lesson was “From Death to Life ” (Ephesians 2:1-14).  Use the questions below to review it with your kids. You can also review the weekly North Star Catechism (below).

READ Ephesians 2:1-14 or Story 142 in The Gospel Story Bible

ASK: What does it mean to be dead? Death is when there is no life, no death, no ability to move.

ASK: What does it mean to be dead in your sin? This means that God's spirit is not living inside a person so they cannot move toward God.

ASK: What does it mean to be made alive in Christ? Jesus can touch our hearts and make them alive again. He took our death and can give us life.

Check out the daily devotionals that correspond with this week’s lesson in the book, Old Story New by Marty Machowski, pages 338-42.

This week’s North Star catechism question is…

72. What are we asking when we pray, "Your kingdom come"? That we might see everyone have life with God under the rule of God.
