sojournkids at homeThis week’s SojournKids Bible lesson was “Paul in Chains” (Acts 28:11-31).  Use the questions below to review it with your kids. You can also review the weekly North Star Catechism (below).

READ Acts 28:11-31 or Story 139 in The Gospel Story Bible

ASK: Why did Paul go to Rome? Paul was a Roman citizen, and every Roman citizen could appeal to Caesar and be tried in Rome when arrested.

ASK: In Rome, was Paul put in prison? No. Paul was under house arrest, which means he could go on living in his home but was chained there and could not leave.

ASK: What did Paul do while in chains? He shared the good news about Jesus with the soldiers who guarded him.

This week’s North Star catechism question is…

72. What are we asking when we pray, "Your will be done"? That the sinfulness and brokenness of this world will be wiped away as people obey God.

Acts 5:24 But let justice flow like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream.
