sojournkids at homeThis week’s SojournKids Bible lesson was “The Armor of God” (Ephesians 6:10-20).  Use the questions below to review it with your kids. You can also review the weekly North Star Catechism (below).

READ Ephesians 6:10-20 or Story 145 in The Gospel Story Bible

ASK: Why did Paul talk about armor? Armor is for protection, and Paul knew that Christians need gospel truth to protect them every day.

ASK: What are the different parts of the armor? The belt of truth; the breastplate of righteousness; the shoes of readiness to share the gospel message; the shield of faith; the helmet of salvation; and the sword of the Spirit.

This week’s North Star catechism question is…

75. What are we asking when we pray, "Forgive us our debts"? That we receive God's forgiveness for sins and God will enable us to forgive others.

Mathew 6:14-15 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
