sojournkids at homeThis week’s SojournKids Bible lesson was “God Breathed the Scriptures” (2 Timothy 3:14-17).  Use the questions below to review it with your kids. You can also review the weekly North Star Catechism (on the attachment).

READ 2 Timothy 3:14-17 or Story 149 in The Gospel Story Bible

ASK: What is the Bible? The Bible is God's holy Word.

ASK: Who wrote the Bible? People who were taught by the Holy Spirit

ASK: Why do we need the Bible? The Bible teaches us about God. It shows us how to love, trust, and obey him, and it corrects us when we are not doing so.

Check out the daily devotionals that correspond with this week’s lesson in the book, Old Story New by Marty Machowski, pages 375-379.

This week’s North Star catechism question is…

1. Who made you and everything? God made everything and me.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
