Leader 1: Let’s sing some of our favorite worship songs together! Our first song is called “Sing and Shout,” which are two ways that we worship God! Who can raise their hand and tell me some other ways that we worship God? (Take 3-4 answers; if they need help: Dance! Give Offering! Help Others! Pray! Serve the Church! Read the Bible!) Wow! Worship is more than just a song! Let’s remember how good God is as we get to worship through song today!

Leader 2: Our memory verse this month is Psalm 39:4! Repeat this after me: “Before a word is on my tongue, you know it completely, O Lord.” Ok, let’s play a little game to see what this verse means. I’m going to think of a word in my head, and let’s see if any of you can guess it. [Take 3 or 4 guesses before revealing your word] Wow! Is anyone surprised that no one could guess my word? We can’t even guess what’s in each other’s minds, but this passage from God’s Word tells us that God doesn’t just guess what’s in our minds, He knows it before anyone else! Psalm 139, where this verse comes from, is all about how well God knows us and loves us. He doesn’t only know what words we will speak before we speak them, He also knows the thoughts in our minds and the desires of our hearts! And no matter where we are, no matter what we do, this Psalm says that He will never leave us.
Leader 1: That’s right! God knows us, and God loves us! When we worship, we are responding to God’s goodness. Another way we do this is by giving an offering to God of our money, our time, and our talents! As we sing this next song about Jesus’ love for us, you can bring your offering up to the front!

Leader 1: That song reminds of us our Christmas song, doesn’t it? When we sing it at Christmas, it’s about Jesus coming to Earth to be with us. When we sing it during this Easter season, it’s about Jesus going to the cross, where He sacrificed Himself to fix our broken relationship with God. We have one more song to sing about that!! Will you sing it with me?!

Leader 2: Here is our question for this week! I’ll read the question and you will all read the answer together!
March 2: Why does God tell us, “You shall have no other gods before Me?” Because God is our only King and Lord.
March 8: Why does God tell us, “You shall not make for yourself an image?” So we will serve God and nothing else.
March 15: Why does God tell us, “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God?” So we will respect God’s name, Word, and works.
March 22: Why does God tell us, “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it Holy?” So we will rest in God and remember the finished work of Jesus.
March 29: How should we love our neighbor? We should love our neighbor as ourselves.
Leader 2: Let’s pray! Bow your heads and fold your hands as we talk to God! Father God, we thank You for sending Jesus to be our Teacher, our Friend, our Brother, and our Savior. Jesus, we praise You for going to cross to die and defeating death for us! Holy Spirit, please fill our hearts today so we can know and love You more. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
