We'd love for you to use this short devotional to review this week's story with your kids.
Background: In this week’s story we read about Jesus continuing his ministry and he is immediately approached by an important man named Jarius. His daughter was sick and to the point of death. He pleads with Jesus to come with him. As they try to leave a large crowd forms. There is a woman in the crowd in need of healing. She believes that if she just touches Jesus’ garment she will be healed. She does and Jesus heals her. Jesus then takes Peter, James, and John to Jarius’ house. Jesus takes the child’s parents in the room and raises her from the dead.
Opening/Ice Breaker: Have you ever been sick? How did you get better? Was it fun? What did Jesus heal people from? Jesus healed people from sickness, sin, and death.
