We'd love for you to use this short devotional to review this week's story with your kids.

Background:  An angel instructed Philip to go to a desert road that went from Jerusalem to Gaza. There was an Ethiopian man heading home. He was reading the scriptures. The angel then told Philip to go and join the Ethiopians chariot. Philip asked the Ethiopian man whether or not he understood what he was reading. From there they discussed the story of Jesus. They then came upon a body of what and Philip baptizes the converted Ethiopian man.

Opening/Ice Breaker:  Have you ever been on a road trip? Where did you go? How long did it take you to get there?

Read Acts 8:26-40

Questions/Apply it:

  • What was the Ethiopian reading in his chariot?
  • What did Philip do with the Ethiopian when they found a body of water?
